QA Entertainment was built on a simple belief: the right music at the right moment changes everything. Led by Jamie Quamina, a DJ and MC known for calm professionalism and intentional pacing, every event is approached with the same care and attention from the very first conversation to the final song.

The art of DJing was instilled in Jamie at a young age. His father was also a DJ, and some of his earliest memories are of seeing the impact the right song, at the right moment, can have on people.
He started by making mixtapes for friends and DJing house parties, then grew his craft performing at bars, clubs, and private events throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo region. What began as a way to fund his education quickly became a lasting passion.
In 2009, Jamie became a Registered Respiratory Therapist, but his love for music and entertaining never faded. Today he brings that same care and attention into every event, creating nights that feel well-paced and unforgettable for everyone there.
Outside of events, Jamie can usually be found hunting down great vegan food and raising his daughter Noa Sanaa with his partner Shar.
